Highlights •The natural landing dynamical model in single-tidal-locked binary asteroids is derived, including the contact motion.•The influences of the binary system characteristic properties on the landing motion are studied by considering non-spherical effects of the two primaries.•Two dynamical parameters are introduced to analyze the simulation results and provide common rules for landing dynamics in binary systems.
