Highlights •g-C3N4/Bi2MoO6 was prepared by high-energy ball-milling.•Type II heterojunction was formed in the g-C3N4/Bi2MoO6 composite.•Corona polarization was introduced into the heterojunction.•It shows excellent photocatalytic activity on degradation of TC.
