The author offers tips on incorporating arts in gardens during interpretive horticulture programs. She suggests inviting poets to share their works. She also recommends creating mud pies to engage the senses of participants, especially children, in creating sculptures of soil, water and flower cuttings. Other ways are reading a related story and collaborating cultural organizations.
