The article presents a case study on the implementation of psycho-trauma centers in Northern Uganda. It explores the country's mental health needs and services for Ugandans with persistent mental symptoms and psychiatric syndromes. It highlights the social interventions initiated by the Peter C. Alderman Foundation and the Ugandan government in a public-private partnership (PPP) delivery of low-cost evidenced-based mental health care to the traumatized population.
