Anorexia Nervosa and Antipsychotics: How to Apply Research Findings to the Adolescent Population.

The article discusses the application of research findings related to use of second generation antipsychotics (SGAs) for the treatment of the disease Anorexia Nervosa (AN) in the adolescent population. It is mentioned that psychological symptoms including negative and obsessive thinking related to related to AN can improve with the use of SGAs. Also, need of further research for determining the efficacy of SGAs is discussed.
