A triphenylphosphine-mediated synthetic method for (Z)-diisopropyl-2-(cyano (aryl)methylene)hydrazine-1,1-dicarboxylates via one-pot three-component reactions using potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) as a cyanide source was described.
