Information on homoerotic experience in classical Roman and Greek art is presented. Images of same-sex courtship, pursuit, and sexual intercourse, have been found on Greek vases that invariably focus on the activities and responses of men. There are also several statues that reflect ancient literary texts and inscriptions about male same-sex desire and desiring gazes.
