This article discusses a study which examined nonisothermal crystallization kinetics of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) in PVDF/dibutylphthalate (DBP)/di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP) blends via thermally induced phase separation using differential scanning calorimetry measurements. The study noticed the failure of Ozawa approach to describe the crystallization behavior of PVDF in PVDF/DBP/DEHP blends. Primary crystallization and secondary crystallization were observed in this study.
