This article discusses a study which examined the morphology of nonisothermally crystallized poly(phenylene sulfide) (PPS) and its blend with poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK). The study used a polarized optical microscope (POM) in the examination. It also employed differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) to investigate the nonisothermal crystallization behavior of the materials. It showed a higher maximum crystallization temperature for PEEK/PPS blend compared with PPS alone.
