The article offers a thorough examination of the design, development, and use of virtual world learning spaces based on the Nurse Anesthesia operating room simulation at the University of Kansas Medical Center (UKMC). The project was aimed at providing some insights into the development of virtual world learning spaces and highlighting the advantages of virtual world spaces over real world spaces. Information is also presented on the UKMC and the project.
