The article examines the analgesic effectiveness and side effects of two remifentanil infusion rates in patients undergoing extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) for renal stones. The study included 200 patients who were administered remifentanil. The frequencies of patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) and deliveries were recorded. It found no difference in the visual analog scale (VAS) scores recorded between groups.
