The article offers information about new materials that have made bowling game easier to play. It states that earlier the wooden lanes were lubricated and hard rubber balls were used for the purpose. Now the lanes are made of synthetic surface that looks like wood to provide a more consistent plane. The balls are now made of reactive resin having the ability to occupy lanes through the oil layer increasing the likelihood of knocking.
