Studies the magnetic properties of iron-implanted silica films after different annealing processes. Magnetization of the samples annealed at temperatures below or equal to 600 degree Celsius; Increase of the saturation magnetization at temperatures above 800 degree Celsius; Absence of magnetic domain structure for the as-implanted and 600 degree Celsius annealed samples.
