The article focuses on the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), which is discovered in Michigan, U.S. in 2002. EAB is said to spread to six states and provinces, and that a method of sanitization is needed. A study was conducted to evaluate different chemical sanitation methods in laboratory and field conditions. It is mentioned that the treatments include spray and drip borate treatments with boric acid and Preventol.
