The article gives advice to a married woman whose husband does not want to add her name to the deed of a house he purchased for them. She is advised to contact an attorney in her state to find out what would happen to the property should her husband die and she is not on the title or in his will to inherit it. According to most state laws, any property brought in by either spouse prior to marriage is that person's sole and separate property.
