The article presents updates on various issues related to science. Disinfecting agents that are capable of exerting an immediate and powerful oxidizing action are said to be the best. The process of the deposition of lead sulphate on the fibers of a cloth is provided. Parts of kaolin, glycerine, acetic acid and a small quantity of some ethereal oil are prescribed in destroying the black-points, flesh-worms or comedones that are found on the face.
