The article describes the case of a 25-year old woman with protuberant, pink and irritated growth on the left upper medial buttock diagnosed as superficial angiomyxoma. The histopathologic characteristics of superficial angiomyxoma are described. It differentiates superficial angiomyxoma from differential diagnoses of neurofibroma, focal cutaneous mucinoss, spindle cell lipoma and myxofibrosarcoma.
