The article presents a study of program directors, residents, and recent dermatology residency graduates on the perceptions of community service in dermatology residency training programs. Topics include increases in awareness of health disparities and social factors impacting dermatologic care; integrating service learning into the dermatology residency program curriculum enhances trainees' cultural sensitivity; and encouragement in the prioritization of skin health equity.
