The article presents a case of an infant boy who presented profuse sweating and irritability 24 hours following his birth. Based on blood tests, he was experiencing severe hypoglycemia and was given continuous enteral feeding and intravenous infusion of glucose solution. He was diagnosed with congenital hyperinsulinism (CHI) and was treated with octreotide.
