The article presents a study using the fundamental interpersonal relations orientation (FIRO) business tool to assess the personality differences among managers of different types of teams. Also cited are the types of teams like co-located traditional teams and virtual teams consisting of remote workers, and the benefits of virtual teams like reduced travel costs and expert collaboration across geographical boundaries, as well as the facets related to team performance like reward management.
