A copper intrauterine device (IUD) is a reliable means to prevent pregnancy. They can be related not only to IUD-released active substances that alter the natural environment of the genital tract, but also to uterine perforation and IUD migration. The main uncertainty was the IUD's migration mechanism due to the lack of urinary tract impairment symptoms and no perforation signs in the uterus. [Extracted from the article]
