The article argues that the National Health Service (NHS) in Great Britain has a responsibility to take the lead in encouraging use of electric vehicles (EV) to reduce transport emissions and improve air quality. Topics discussed include the limitation of inadequate EV charging infrastructure, and NHS sites' possible ideal locations for EV charging points. Also noted is the need for significant national changes to support EV uptake.
