The Fulcrum Foundation in Seattle, Washington State, was established to provide a stable source of funding for Catholic schools and families in need. After a feasibility study was conducted to gauge support for a capital campaign to establish endowments for tuition assistance and assistance to schools in need, the foundation's board focused on recruiting campaign chairs, and then donations began coming in. When the campaign successfully concluded in December 2008, it had raised $43 million. The foundation continued to cultivate existing donors and expanded its activities to reach out to new supporters. Details of the foundation's programs are provided.
