This paper reports on the effectiveness of a subject matter specific intervention on the modification of teacher trainees' skill feedback behavior. The intervention contained information on the critical performance elements of the skills which were specific to each subjects' selected activity. Data on the trainees' feedback patterns were collected by using selected categories from Fishman and Tobey's (1978) augmented feedback scale, Results showed that the subjects met or exceeded approximately 62% of the behavioral criterion levels established over the course of the study.
