The article examines the role of executive functions in reducing the risk of bicycle accidents among teenagers in Germany. It offers information on the cycling training provided to children at the end of fourth grade. The factors that cause the high accident rates of children aged 10 to 14 are also discussed including slower reaction times, motor skills, and increased risk-taking.
