Service-learning has become a popular approach for supporting students in higher education settings, but less is known about its link with the learner's self-efficacy, which are known to play an important role in higher education. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of service-learning approach on students' self-efficacy skills. This research utilised quasi-experimental design with two data collection time pre-post-tests. The sample involved 69 students from the fourth-year colleges in one Saudi university. The participants were randomly distributed into two groups, taught by the service-learning approach and the other group by traditional approach. The results show that the service-learning approach group had obtained higher self-efficacy mean score compared to its traditional counterpart, and they showed improvement in self-efficacy mean score over the period of the study. The findings indicated that further study needed to validate this study results in a different context. Implication and recommendation are also highlighted.
