The interaction of two supersonic plasma streams meeting at arbitrary angles in a high-power pulsed discharge is studied. It is shown that the plasma stream behind the shock is accelerated; this acceleration is of a gasdynamic nature. The plasma temperature and density in the shock and in the compression zone are determined. Certain gasdynamic parameters of subsonic and supersonic plasma stream are measured.
