In the ongoing study, generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation with dual form of generalized non-local nonlinearity is studied. The generalized Schrödinger equation is a nonlinear equation that is frequently encountered in modern physics study. Additionally, it is an important equation for researching problems with light pulse transmission in nonlinear dispersive optical medium. Schrödinger model is very important in communication systems because its refer to motion of solitary wave in optical fiber. Studying is executed by implementing the integration technique of the improved modified extended tanh-function method. Numerous solutions have been established, including (dark, bright and singular) solitons, hyperbolic, Weierstrass elliptic and exponential solutions. Furthermore, to illustrate the physical nature of certain selected solutions, graphical descriptions are introduced.
