This paper presents a Japanese learning support system on the web site applying the approaches of 5W1H (who, when, where, what, why, how, and do) and ontology technique. The system provides a leaning platform which assists the beginners of learning Japanese to master basic Japanese characters (kanji), words, grammar and particles. The practice of particles is emphasized in the research since the beginners are easy to confuse the usage of particles. Estimation on the correction of selected particles in the praxis is available for the users. 5W1H rule is used to define the components of Japanese praises, and the ontology technique is used to classify Japanese characters by their relationships and illations. We find that applying 5W1H is possible to freely generate a large amount of Japanese praxis, and combining ontology technique is useful to improve comprehension of Japanese praxis.
