Sequential drug release is a critical component in combination therapy where more than one drug type is used for therapeutic treatment. This paper investigates and proposes a sequential coordination scheme among multiple drug carrying nanomachines (DCs) through an internal controller nanomachine (IC). Using molecular communication, the IC communicates with the DCs and informs them when they should release their drug in a successive manner to improve the efficacy of the administered drugs. Additionally, we undertake error analysis to study the effects of distance on the behavior of the proposed scheme.
