This paper describes an experimental study on the performance of an air-type solar collector using carbon fiber sheet us the collecting material (uir-typo CF-sheet solar collector) under a large-scale solar simulator. In the experiment, the intensity of radiation, tho flow rate of ait, inlet and exit temperatures of the collector were measured at. constant room temperature. The collector efficiency which was obtained from the measurements was discussed in the various points of view. The efficiency becomes higher along with the higher intensity of radiation and higher rate of air flow, and decreases with high inlet temperatures. The thermal performance of the air-type CF-shoot solar collector was made clear under the various conditions, and compared with the analytical and the other experimental results.
