This thesis is about converting cursive style of writing Chinese characters into the correct form of a character and translating the 『直欲泛仙槎帖』 of Pyoam Kang sehwang’s family and examining their characteristics. The title of 『直欲泛仙槎帖』 was written by Lee Samhwan(1770∼1847), and it seems to have been made into a book by Kang Lo(1809-1886) or his descendants in the late 19th century. This book contains 14 pieces of letters, 2 pieces of pictures, and 2 pieces of criticism that were written and drawn by Pyoam's father, Kang Hyun(1650-1733), son Kang In(1729-1791), Kang Bin (175-1808), Kang Shin(1767-1821), nephews Kang Uhm(1766-1831) and Kang Ui, grandson Kang Yimoon (1775-1855), great-grandson Kan Iok and Kang Ibok, and great-grandson Kang Lo. It is an important material that can check the writings, drawings, daily life and mutual networks of 12 members of the 5 generations of the Jinju Kang family around the 18th century. As for the author, there are 9 works by Pyoam's sons Kang In, Kang Bin, and Kang Shin. The letter that Pyoam's son wrote to Pyoam is rare, so it has high material value. In terms of time of writing, 11 were written between 1772 and 1783, which is the heyday of the Pyoam family and 5 were sent to Pyoam, the largest number. Therefore, through converting cursive style of writing Chinese characters into the correct form of a character and translating the materials of this handwriting book, it was possible to confirm the status of Pyoam Kang Sehwang, who played a central role in the life, communication, and art of the Jinju Kang family for five generations.
