The purpose of this study is to analyze the importance and performance level of core competencies that university dance majors think, analyze the priority, and analyze the educational needs for competency change. As a result of conducting a paired sample T analysis to analyze the educational needs recognized by dance major students, overall satisfaction with the current performance level was lower than the importance of competency. As a result of Borich's demand analysis and The Locus for Focus Model analysis, two top priorities of learning competencies, one top priority of job competencies and three sub priorities were derived. In other words, we can conclude that we hope to develop and strengthen learning management (self-management) and career development (employment preparation) through university education.Specialization and specialization education is important for high-quality education that can cultivate career development competencies in universities, and it is also necessary to find ways to strengthen core competencies required by future society in school curriculum.
