This study, as basic study for developing autogenous shrinkage which causes problems in high strength concrete, analyzed the basic features of high strength mortar for which SO, UO, LO, SR and EA were used, and the results are summarized as follows. As of fresh mortar, liquidity tended to reduce as Incorporating of a shrinkage reducing agent increases, and, especially in case of UO and LO, the liquidity largest reduced. But, air contents tended to slightly increase. With respect to features of hardened mortar, it was found that compressive strength largely reduced in the early age as Incorporating increases. With respect to autogenous shrinkage features, it was revealed that, in case a shrinkage reducing agent was used, it reduced by about 10~40 % at Incorporating 1 % and 2 %, compared with Plain. Comparison of autogenous shrinkage reducing effects among agents indicated that SO was highest in the effect, followed by LO and UO, and when even economic feasibility considered, UO is evaluated to be most desirable.
