This study examined the process of Silla's entry into eastern Jeollabuk-do through the analysis of Silla earthenware excavated from ancient tombs in eastern Jeollabuk-do. The entry process was set in stages 1 to 3 based on the changes and historical facts of the excavated Silla earthenware. The first stage is the mid-5th century, when Silla earthenware flows into eastern Jeollabuk-do. During this period, Gaya's stone-lined pits burial tomb was identified with Jangsu area, and Gaya, Baekje, and Silla pottery were enshrined in the same tomb. This is a cultural exchange of Gaya in Jangsu and the surrounding Silla, indicating that Silla earthenware was introduced. The second stage are the end of the 5th century and the mid-6th century, when Silla's stone chamber tombs were introduced to the eastern part of Jeollabuk-do. At this time, Silla's stone chamber tombs were identified with Muju Daechari, which was very similar to the tomb of Gimcheon Okryul-ri, and the types of excavated artifact. So it was seen as the entry into Silla through Deoksanryeong. Also, the Ancient Tombs in Hwangsan-ri, Jinan is Gaya ancient tombs are of Gaya origin, from three of which one piece of Mounted Jar with Long Neck was found in each one. This is very similar to the Mounted Jar with Long Neck. Excavate from the Okcheon Geumguri Ancient Tombs. Therefore, the relationship between the Gaya in Jinan and the Silla in Okcheon were suggested. The third stage were in the mid-6th and early 7th centuries, after Silla won the Battle of Gwansanseong Fortress in 554 and occupied the Geumsan area. Jinan was originally occupied by Gaya, and it is believed that Silla entered with the collapse of Gaya in the mid-6th century. In addition, Silla earthenware was identified after the middle of the 6th century in Jangsu Chimnyeongsanseong Fortress, and Silla forces seem to have advanced from Geumsan to Jinan and Jangsu. Silla also entered the Namwon Unbong Plateau. In addition to Gaya earthenware, which is circulated in the first half of the 6th century, Silla earthenware, which is circulated in the second half of the 6th century and the first half of the 7th century, was excavated from Amakseong Fortress. This supports that the Namwon Unbong Plateau became the territory of Silla after the mid-6th century.
