In this study, the bizarreness-grotesque aesthetics aspect of Chusa is considered from the period after the exile to Jeju to the end of the period, and the research purpose of this thesis is to study in the Bizarreness-grotesque Aesthetics(奇怪美學)of Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書) in terms of calligraphic-historical andcalligraphic-aesthetics meaning in the calligraphy after Chusa’s exile, using the work as an example.By examining various views on bizarreness and grotesque, this study examines the aesthetic meaning. Chusa studied and contemplated the typefaces of various calligraphers, using the calligraphy writing system as a link between the epigraphy and the Character Fragrance and Book Spirit(文字香 書卷氣). The creation oforiginal, novel and bizarre works is the result of unremitting efforts. With thisbackground, it will be organically reviewed and analyzed that Kim Jeong-hee’s bizarre aesthetics of calligraphy was recreated from Combination CalligraphicWritings(合體書) and creative bizarre aesthetics. Chusa mainly studied the and the methodology of historical research, a bibliographical study of ancient China, the Handbook of Han Dynasty, and the epigraphy of Ye-seo(隸書), Jeon-seo(篆書)and was encouraged by thedevelopment of the archaeology of Qing Dynasty, exchanging documents andtablets with Qing scholars and analyzing them in depth. As a result, he made a turning point in the development of in Joseon by examining domestic inscriptionsbased on archaeology and genomics. In the process, he reinterpreted ancientcharacters and calligraphy in a modern way to form a Chusache(秋史體), using hisown unique, semi-supervised and bizarre combination calligraphic writings(合體書).Chusa emphasizes the Character Fragrance and Book Spirit(文字香 書卷氣) notonly in calligraphy but also in painting. Chusa especially emphasized the Character Fragranee and Book Spirit(文字香 書卷氣) in narrating of Ye-seo(隸書) and drawing orchid. Before art, Chusa emphasizes the Character Fragrance and Book Spirit(文字香 書卷氣), can be filled with the book of five thousand books in the mind. When it comes to art that exudes the dignified fragrance of human beings, that is, the noble and quasi-gentle man, the art is considered to have real value.Ultimately, the human attitude toward art such as calligraphy and paintingemphasized the spirit of unity between academics and arts combined with deep learning and unremitting efforts for the study of literature. Finally, the bizarre aesthetics of Chusa’s Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書) will be dealt with in this study. This study discusses Chusa’s ingenious and bizarre aesthetics as the result of Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書) and introduces the definition of ‘Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書)’, which wascalled ‘Odd style(雜體)’ or ‘Odd style Calligraphic Writings(雜體書)’, and several debates about Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書) in China. In addition, this study will examine the calligraphic historical meaning and calligraphic aesthetic meaning of Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書), and reflect on Chusas Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書). Rather than Odd style(雜體) or Odd style Calligraphic Writings(雜體書) it is argued that it is desirable to convert, understand, and use it as combination(合體) or Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書), which have a positive and fusional meaning. The expected effect obtained from this study is that, first, Chusa Kim Jeong-hee developed a unique creative world with an emphasis on bizarreness, and the Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書) is at the root. In addition, it will be deduced that an ancient and classical bizarreness is unfolded with calligraphy based on the methodology of historical research, bibliographical study etc. Second, the bizarre aesthetics of Chusa’s Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書) were investigated by examining how the bizarre aesthetics that appeared in the self- invented calligraphy were expressed, and the modern Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書) that Chusa struggled and valued in calligraphy along with the recent research trend of coalescence in the Chinese calligraphy world. Third, although this study is rough and dull, it is expected to offer implications for future research and interest in coalescence and bizarre aesthetics in the topic of combination calligraphic writings(合體書) and the calligraphy aesthetics that the Korean calligraphy world is aiming for.In conclusion, it is an undeniable fact that Chusa Kim Jeong-hee had a bizarre aesthetic art using the Combination Calligraphic Writings(合體書). The background to the formation of the bizarre aesthetics of Chusa’s calligraphy is the emphasis on epigraphy and the Character Fragrance and Book Spirit(文字香 書卷氣). The unique and bizarre synthesis of Chusa raises the alarm for calligraphers about the true spirit of calligraphy and creativity.
