There have been discussions that feminism negatively affects the fertility rate. This is currently ongoing and there are considerable opinions on it. It is expected that confirming these discussions through research can suggest effective policies on the low birth rate problem, which is currently a serious problem in Korea. Therefore, this paper aims to confirm the discussion through research on the effect of feminism on childbirth intention and to provide suggestions on Korea's policy to respond to low birth rates. This paper surveyed a total of 159 students in their 20s and 30s in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon, and used them for a total of 137 studies. Three attitudes toward feminism were set as independent variables, and the intention to give birth was set as dependent variables. Attitudes toward feminism were measured as attitudes toward whether it was positive or negative, attitudes toward feminism as feminism-centeredness, and attitudes toward feminism as gender equality. A regression analysis was conducted on the effects of three perspectives on the intention to give birth. The main results of the study are as follows. First, the intention to give birth did not differ according to the definition of feminism as feminist or gender equality. Second, in all male and female samples, there was no relationship between attitudes toward feminism and the intention to give birth. However, it can be seen that among women, the more positive they have toward feminism, the lower their willingness to give birth. In addition, as a policy implication suggested in this study, first, policy measures should be prepared so that sound discussions on feminism can be made online or in the media as a way to materialize the definition of correct feminism. Second, in order to solve the low birth rate, it is suggested to regulate working hours, stabilize employment, and create a culture of gender equality between companies and society so that they want to give birth.
