연구배경: 한국인의 생체에서 성별 및 좌우에 따른 안와상공, 안와하공 및 턱끝구멍의 해부학적 변이를 비교해 보고자 하였다.연구방법: 2008년부터 2009년까지 촬영된 180명의 MDCT를 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과: 성별 및 좌우에 따른 해부학적 변이를 고려하여 수술이나 시술 중에 안전하고 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있을 것이다.
Background: The aim of the study was to examine the anatomical variations of the supraorbital, infraorbital, and mental foramina related to gender and side in living subjects using multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) in Korea. Methods: Computer records of 180 adult patients (90 men and 90 women) referred for high-resolution CT examinations were evaluated for the presence,shape, and distance between each of the anatomical landmarks. For the supraorbital passage, distances from the center of the supraorbital foramen to thefacial midline and to the superior orbital rim were measured. In the presence of a supraorbital or frontal notch, distances from the facial midline to the center ofeach notch were measured. For the infraorbital foramen, distances from the center of the infraorbital foramen to the facial midline and to the inferior orbitalrim were measured. For the mental foramen, distances from the center of themental foramen to the facial midline and to the inferior mandibular margin were measured. Comparisons were made between genders and sides and statisticalanalysis was performed using the Student’s t test.
