Unlike object recognition, image segmentation in artificial intelligence performs more complex and difficult operations. It is not possible to obtain the same processing speed or good results as tested by developers in different hardware environments. Since each object in the image has a different shape or color, it is very difficult to clearly distinguish it from the background. When an object misrecognition problem occurs in an actual classification automation system, it leads to malfunction of a physical device, which damages the object and the surrounding environment. In addition, a control system with artificial intelligence-based image segmentation is performed with the goal of processing multiple data, but it is not easy to process multiple data at once. The method of this study used apple image data and was performed based on YOLACT. The two additional processes proposed are designed to improve the utilization of image segmentation. The first increases the accuracy of image segmentation through detailed recognition processing of additional areas according to data characteristics, and the second enables multiple input processing. The proposed method was considered not to give additional computational weight to the hardware as much as possible due to the use of the model of artificial intelligence. The first is a detailed area recognition method through additional area correction image processing. The method utilizes recognized area data of artificial intelligence-based image segmentation. To reflect the characteristics of the input data, it was composed of post-processing including color separation through image processing, object boundary recognition, and area filling. As a result, some of the fine regions of the recognized regions of the existing image segmentation are corrected. As a comparative method, improvements were confirmed through MPA and visual confirmation, which are indicators of recognition area confirmation. The second is to improve the process so that multiple data can be processed on server that utilize artificial intelligence. The input multiple data performs a process of compressing the resolution and recognizing the object in consideration of the size of the existing image. In the process, an algorithm was added to distinguish misrecognized objects based on the object location of the boundary of the compressed data. The recognized object position is reflected in the result after correction to be proportional to the resolution size of the original image. As a result, multiple data were processed without damaging the original by reusing the existing image. The proposed method does not require additional hardware resources in a system that performs existing artificial intelligence-based image segmentation. The speed was maintained in the additional processing process, and it was confirmed that utilization could be increased through recognition results and hardware usage.
