The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for establishing policies by identifying trends in overseas sports policy research in Korea. In order to understand the trend of research on professional sports policies for the disabled in Korean, systematic literature review and cases were used. The systematic literature review process first examined the topics and contents of overseas policy information of domestic research data on professional sports policies for the disabled, and through this process, the direction of what Korea's professional sports policy for the disabled wanted to find in overseas cases was examined. The subjects of the study were Japan, China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Azerbaijan, and financial support was provided by 10 countries except Azerbaijan. Based on overseas cases, it is necessary to establish a foundation for professional sports support based on characteristics in sports for the disabled, foster athletes with disabilities, and improve performance.
