Xanthomonas campestris pv.campestris (Xcc) is the causative agent of black rot, a disease that severely damages cruciferous plants. However, there are no commercially registered chemicals or biologics for the control of this disease. In this study, antibacterial activity against microorganisms isolated from soil was evaluated using Xanthomonas campestris, a strain that causes black rot. Among them, strains with excellent antibacterial activity and enzyme activity were selected and 16S rRNA sequencing was performed. As a result, it was identified as the genus Bacillus and named Bacillus sp. B19-108. In order to secure the maximum number of B19-108 bacteria, an optimal production medium composition was established, and a slightly acidic pH condition and a culture temperature condition of 36oC were established. After powder formulation of Bacillus sp. B19-108, the effect of inhibiting the occurrence of V-shaped yellow lesions, a symptom caused by Xcc infection, was investigated using Chinese cabbage. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that the range of V-shaped yellow lesions was reduced in the Bacillus sp. B19-108 treatment group compared to the Xcc alone treatment group. Therefore, it is considered that additional studies such as extended efficacy evaluation for cruciferous crops using Bacillus sp B19-108 strain and field tests in facility cultivation are needed.
내장산 토양에서 분리한 미생물들은 검은썩음병 유발 균주인 Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris에 대 한 항균 활성을 평가하였다 . 활성이 우수한 8종의 균주 중 항균 활성과 효소 활성이 우수한 균주를 선별하여 16S rRNA 염기서열을 이용하여 분석하였으며 , Bacillus sp. B19-108로 명명하였다 . Bacillus sp. B19-108의 최대 균수를 확보하기 위해 최적의 생산 배지 조성을 확립하였으며 , 약산성의 pH 조건과 36oC의 배양 온도조건을 확립하였다 . Bacillus sp. B19-108은 분말 제형으로 만든 후 배추를 이용하여 Xcc 감염에 의한 증상인 V자형 황색 병반의 발생을 억제하는 효과를 조사하였다 . 실험결과 , Bacillus sp. B19-108을 처리한 군에서는 V자형 황색 병반의 발생 범위가 Xcc 단독 처리군과 비교하여 감소하는 경향을 확인하였다 . 따라서 Bacillus sp. B19-108 균주를 이용한 십자화과 작 물에 대한 확대 효능 평가와 시설 재배지 현장 시험 등의 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 사료된다 .
