A reorientation of the liquid crystal (LC) molecules was discussed in a reverse mode liquid crystal which was prepared using fluorine end liquid crystal and a reactive mesogen(RM). The LC reorientation in small and large domains were assumed and the dielectric constant of the composite cell of the RM, fixed LC with RM, LCs in the small domain and large domain by using logarithmic mixing law, as a function of applied voltage. It was clarified that a difference of threshold voltages between small and large LC domains was dominant to cause light scattering in the reverse mode cell.
