The purpose of this study is to establish optimization method of bending stiffness for torque converter casing. In this study evaluated the effect of aligned fiber radial, circumferencial direction on deformation. The commercial numerical analysis tool Abaqus was used, and evaluated about deformation mode, total strain energy. The results, fiber orientation aligned circumferencial direction from center of circle to radius 55mm deformation of thickness direction to minimum and found the relationship between area ratio and deformation of thickness direction. Decision method of the optimum of material orientation is most effective minimize total strain energy.
