[Purpose] To compare Titmus Stereo Tests (TST) and New Stereo Tests (NST) with different disparity conditions in normal young subjects.[Subjects and Methods] Included were 133 (62males and 71females; age range, 19 to 23 years) otherwise healthy young subjects with refractive error. With full correction, stereoacuity at near with crossed disparity (convex table) and uncrossed disparity (concave table) was measured. [Results] Most of the subjects showed the same measurements of stereoacuity with crossed and uncrossed disparity on both tests. NST however showed some difference between the measurements using convex and concave tables. The disparity angle was larger with the convex table.[Conclusion] When using NST for stereo testing, it is necessary to pay attention to the difference between the test results with convex and concave tables.
