The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of practical knowledge transfer through educational donation on communication capacity and interpersonal competence. The subjects of the study were 94 students who participated in the educational donation activities of 6 elementary schools among Grades 1-3 students. The communication ability assessment tool used in this study was a tool developed by Lee Seok - jae and others to measure communication ability among college students and adult life skills. In addition, interpersonal competency scales were utilized by Buhrmester, Furman, Wittenberg and Reis. Data were processed using SPSS 21.0 for Windows program and t-test was conducted to verify the difference of communication capacity and interpersonal competence after practical knowledge transfer. The analysis of communication capacity after delivering practical knowledge through educational donation showed significant differences in the factors of creative and open communication, leading communication, and understanding of others' viewpoints of communication capacity. The analysis results of interpersonal competence after giving practical knowledge through educational donation showed significant difference in relation formation and initiation, consideration for others, conflict management factors.
