Using importance-performance analysis(IPA), this study analyzed what selection attributes Chinese women FITs(Foreign Independent Travelers) in their 20s considered in choosing good food restaurants and how much the restaurants provided them with those attributes. Furthermore, based on the number of visits to South Korea(first visit vs revisit), this study analyzed the differences in importance and satisfaction mean of selection attributes between the two groups. The results of the study showed that the cleanliness of meal utensils, restaurant cleanliness, food quality, taste, and toilet cleanliness were high in the importance mean of selection attributes while the appearance of employees, food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and food taste, and overall atmosphere of restaurant were high in the satisfaction mean. IPA showed that restaurants' reputation appeared as a priority improvement for the whole samples. Lastly, when analyzing respondents based on the number of visits to Korea, in the case of the group who were visiting Korea for the first time, the cleanliness of the fixtures appeared to be the key attribute for improvement while the restaurant's reputation appeared in the case of the group who were revisiting. This study discussed the academic and practical implications of these results and future research directions.
