The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of university students' satisfaction of the major on employment preparation behavior. The results of this study were as follows: First, the major satisfaction of university students showed positive(+) influence career decision-making self-efficacy. Second, the major satisfaction of university students showed negative(-) influence on employment preparation behavior. Third, career decision-making self-efficacy of university students showed positive(+) influence on employment preparation behavior. Fourth, career decision-making self-efficacy of university students partially mediated the relationship between satisfaction of the major and employment preparation behavior. Therefore, it is necessary to operate the course and to support the individual 's effort to improve career decision-making self-efficacy(career information collection, goal setting, planning, problem solving, self-evaluation). This research suggests that when these efforts are made, it leads to employment preparation behavior, which can solve the unemployment problem of university students.
