The purpose of this study is to explore the method for ensuring the expertise of the early childhood physical education instructors. To do this, we investigated the level for perceiving the job identity of the early childhood physical education instructors and analyzed the college syllabus of the early childhood physical education classes of the nation-wide 4-year universities. As a result of the analysis, the level of their perception appeared considerably high, more than the mean value (M = 3.57), especially in the level of the pride and the sense of duty among the lower factors of the job identity. The results did not show any of the lecture content, which was progressed toward the instruction and programs for the early children physical education, and the lecture objective. In the analysis of the texts and the sub-texts, most of the universities used the texts for the certificates for the youth sports instructor and the major fields of the professors were very various. The results of this study seems to be utilized as the basic materials necessary to direct and improve early childhood physical education classes.
