The purpose of this study was to investigate correlations between anaerobic reserve (AR) and anaerobic capabilities. Seven elite wrestling athletes(n=8, height: 171.9±5.2, weight: 80.4±11.8) were participated in this study. Anaerobic reserve(AR) was measured by critical power(CP) test, and anaerobic capabilities by Wingate anaerobic test(Lode BV, Excalibur Sport, Netherlands). Results of test of four times at different intensity respectively that AR was showed 49751.38 ± 6436.88 Joule, There were significantly high correlations of AR with Wingate various(r=W5: .738, W10: .851, W20: .899, W30: .803). In addition, the step wise multiple regression analysis revealed that W20 contribute significantly to predicting AR (80.8%). Accordingly, the results of the study demonstrated that the CP test is a reliability and validity method for the measurement of anaerobic capacities in the college wrestling players.
