This study attempted to investigate the effects of social phenomena caused by the spread of coronavirus and problems occurring in the field of employment companies on career exploration and job satisfaction of sports majors. In a situation where the youth unemployment rate, which has recently been highlighted as the biggest problem in Korean society, is very serious, it is becoming increasingly difficult for sports majors to find employment and enter society. Sports majors are making various efforts to get quality employment opportunities, such as experiencing internships, acquiring certificates, completing job training courses, and participating in job-startup programs. The reality of the industry is that they are using the drastic measure of reducing labor costs, which accounts for most of the fixed expenses, due to the long-term strengthening of quarantine and social distancing. Among them, the most representative change is the fact that the form of indirect employment through labor supply and demand companies is increasing remarkably after breaking away from the direct employment system of companies. As a result, they are exposed to considerable stress such as low-wage employment, reduced welfare, conversion to non-regular workers, decreased job stability, increased job anxiety, loss of motivation to work, and poor working conditions. Therefore, research to identify problems and find solutions to such changes in the situation is urgently needed.
